‘BIP’ Has Jade Roper Told Her Kids About Her Miscarriage?
Jade Roper and her husband Tanner Tolbert are going through a difficult time right now as she still suffers through her missed miscarriage but has she told the other kids yet? What is the right thing to do with this sort of news? Will Emmy (6), Brooks (4). and Reed,(2) even be able to comprehend the loss at their age? Read on to find out what the Bachelor in Paradise stars decided.
BIP Jade Roper Suffered Through Her Missed Miscarriage For Weeks
In February this year, the news arrived that the BIP stars let their fans know that they decided another baby would complete their family of three children. Actually, fans felt a bit surprised because, at one stage, Tanner slept in another bed and joked about getting snipped. Still, ABC fans are well aware that she loves her little ones and she’s a great mom who sets goals for her followers.
By April, Jade Roper still hadn’t fallen pregnant and her cycle remained regular. So, she felt really down about that. After that, Bachelor in Paradise fans kept a keen eye out for a baby bump. But they knew things had probably gone south when she shared a very sad post at the beginning of August. On social media, she said, “Some hard and sad things going on over here, sorry been MIA again.” Next, the sad news arrived that her baby had died and she experienced a missed miscarriage.
Jade Roper Still Retains Her Baby Boy Inside Her Womb
When the ABC star told her followers that her baby passed away, she also explained that a missed miscarriage is when the baby passes away but the body doesn’t expel it. She decided to wait and let nature take its course, and she eventually ended up at the ERl. She feared an infection, but doctors said her bloodwork was fine. For now, she waits and she wants to treasure every moment of her unborn child. So, the question arose as to what to what or when to tell the kids.
In a Q&A on Instagram stories this week, a follower asked if the kids “know what you are going through?” In reply, the reality TV star said, “They don’t.” Between her and Tanner Tolbert, they are “still figuring it out.” In fact, they seem to be torn between “telling them soon or waiting for til they are a bit older.”
Jade Roper ended her answer by asking her fans for “any advice.” With her emotional state not being great right now, it must be even more difficult to deal with the pain of telling the three children that they lost a sibling. In fact, New Kids Center noted, “Keep in mind that any miscarriage can lead to postpartum symptoms, including postpartum depression.”
Should She Tell The Children Now?
There doesn’t seem to be a right time to tell children that they lost a sibling before it was born. Jade Roper could tell them now, and they might talk naturally about the baby as if it had been part of the family. Or, they could wait and let them know once they are old enough to understand loss a bit better. Either way, it will probably be a difficult conversation for their mom and dad.
What are your ideas about whether Tanner and his wife should wait before telling the other kids about their lost sibling? Do, you think they should tell them now? Or, should they wait until they are older and can understand? Sound off in the comments below and come back here for all your Bachelor In Paradise news.
