Kevin Costner Reveals Whether He Cheated On His Soon-To-Be Ex-Wife
Yellowstone fans were shocked when Kevin Costner’s wife blindsided him by filing for divorce in late April. There have been rumors and speculation as to why this couple was getting divorced after nearly two decades of marriage.
However, according to People, now that the couple is headed to court at the end of this month, there has been some talk about infidelity.
In some recent court documents, the actor who portrayed John Dutton for five seasons revealed he was not unfaithful in his marriage to Christine Baumgartner. However, he did start some speculation when the documents state that he “does not know for a fact” that the soon-to-be former Mrs. Costner was also faithful.
Although there have been no names on either side, there has been some news about some of Christine’s male pals. Firstly, Costner’s ex was seen hanging out with a now-single neighbor, the Costner’s mutual friend Josh Connor. In addition, tech entrepreneur Daniel Starr was living on the Costner property as a pricey tenant. But, as he and Christine became closer, Kevin kicked his tenant out.
The Former Couple Headed Back To Court
Kevin Costner and his estranged wife Christine Baumgartner Costner are headed back to court. They need to finalize child support. Also, the courts have to weigh in on the validity of the prenuptial agreement that Christine signed before she wed Kevin in Aspen back in 2003.
The Academy Award-winning actor was asked by his ex-wife’s attorneys for information on any “expenses paid by you, or any person at your request or your behalf, relating to any extramarital romantic relationships.” Kevin was not amused.
The 68-year-old actor’s attorneys revealed their displeasure in a very formal way. They wrote that the request for this information was “propounded only for the purposes of harassment, is over broad as to time period and subject matter, burdensome, oppressive and impermissibly compound.”
Furthermore, they pointed out that “there is no community property” between Kevin and Christine in this split. She signed a prenup that prevented this from occurring.
Kevin Costner’s Ex-Wife Claims She Was ‘Pressured’ To Sign Prenup
At the core of this current debate is Christine Costner’s claims that she was “pressured” to sign an agreement before she married Kevin Costner. By signing this agreement, she is entitled to a $1.5 million payout, and nothing more.
However, the courts did rule that she has been temporarily awarded $129,755 per month in child support for their three children. Their children are Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13. In November, the courts will make the final decision on how much she will get for monthly child support. This is in addition to the question of the validity of her prenuptial agreement.
