‘Teen Mom’ Catelynn Lowell Calls Out Editing Lies, Body Shaming
Teen Mom star Catelynn Lowell is calling out editing lies for making her husband, Tyler Baltierra look worse than he is. Teen Mom Catelynn Lowell Calls Out Editing Lies, Body Shaming
Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have been together since their early teens. They had a child together on 16 & Pregnant named Carly who they put up for adoption. The stress that they went through doing something as tough as that only made them closer. Eventually, the duo moved onto Teen Mom where they shared their ups and downs as life was not perfect. Catelynn had mental health and trust issues. At the same time, Tyler’s father was struggling with addiction. Then, they went on and had three more daughters together while maintaining a relationship with Carly.
Recently, Tyler Baltierra has become incredibly jacked and looks phenomenal. Of course, fans cannot help but mention how they believed Tyler has body-shamed his wife. Catelynn Lowell did not take this lying down, according to Us Weekly. She went on Page Six’s podcast Virtual Reali-Tea to clear the air on the whole situation. “If I was ever being body-shamed or called out of my name in front of my kids, I would be gone. Because I don’t want my children to think that that’s OK to be treated like that. So that’s kind of why I get angry,” the Teen Mom star shared.
However, there is video evidence of Baltierra referring to Lowell as “heifer” back in 2016. To that, Catelynn noted it was simply editing: “They would cut out the end of the conversation and [I’d] be like, ‘What, you think I’m a heifer?’ And he’d be like, ‘Oh my God, no, babe!’ And we’d be laughing about it.” At the time, Tyler asserted that he just wanted to help his wife achieve her weight goals but admittedly did not say the right things.
Fans Call Cate Out
In early August, Catelyn Lowell posted a long message on her Instagram. She discussed basically the same as what was on the podcast and how she would never stay with a man who insulted her weight. However, fans have grown tired of her airing her dirty laundry on social media. “Stop dragging your sh*t and family drama on social media, god this is so immature,” one follower wrote. Another added: “Omg just get over it! It is not that big of a deal. If you don’t like how they edit stuff leave the show. You are so damn dramatic.”
