Lindsay Arnold Dishes On Her Plans For ‘DWTS’ Season 32
Will Lindsay Arnold be back when DWTS Season 32 premieres?
Right now, there are many things fans still don’t know about the show. No official cast lists exist yet, although Ariana Madix and Charity Lawson will be part of the celebrity talent.
But what about the pros? Several have expressed their desire to return if offered a spot. But what does Lindsay Arnold intend to do this fall?
Lindsay Arnold talks about her future on Dancing With The Stars
On TikTok, Lindsay Arnold shared that Dancing With The Stars really means a lot to her. She spent 14 seasons on the stage and never sat out once until she got pregnant with her first child. Lindsay was heavily pregnant with her daughter Sage during Season 29 and gave birth on November 2, 2020.
The Utah dancer did return for Season 30 where she partnered with Bachelor Nation’s Matt James. She once again sat out for Season 31. Shortly after announcing that, she also revealed she was pregnant with her second child.
Since Lindsay Arnold gave birth to her second daughter in May, many fans presumed she would have plenty of time to return to DWTS if she chose to.
But will she come back after all?
“Last season when I kind of announced that I wasn’t doing [the show], it wasn’t like I retired or like I said, ‘I’m done forever. I’ll never ever consider doing the show again,’ because I will,” Lindsay revealed. “I’ve really been considering the option and seeing if it’s something we can fit into our life … and ultimately this season is not gonna work out for me and my family.”
She didn’t make the decision lightly. Lindsay Arnold loves the world of ballroom dance. But ultimately, she just really wants to focus on this season of her life.
“I don’t want to separate our family,” the 29-year-old shared. “I don’t want to put my kids through that right now. I feel like this time of their life is so precious and is moving so fast and I want to cherish every single moment. I don’t want to miss a beat.”

How did fans react to the big announcement?
Fans will definitely miss seeing Lindsay Arnold on DWTS. However, many said they really understood her decision.
“I loved how creative you and Witney were with choreography on DWTS but I also love seeing how you’ve both flourished as incredible mamas ❤️” one fan shared in the comments on TikTok.
“Mom season is the best season 😍” another added.
As for the other pro dancers, the show still hasn’t made any formal announcements. First-time mom Jenna Johnson is expected to return, as well as her husband Val Chmerkovskiy.
