‘RHOBH’ Dorit Kemsley Launches Reality Show With Hubby
RHOBH star Dorit Kemsley is launching a reality show with her husband, Paul ‘PK’ Kemsley. Immediately, fans are having Mauricio Umansky flashbacks, and for good reason. So, what is this new series about, and when will it debut? Plus, what role will Dorit have in it? Read on for more details.
RHOBH Dorit Kemsley Launches Reality Show With Hubby
At first glance, Dorit Kemsley and her husband, PK do not look like they fit together. Yet, after watching them since Season 7, it has become clear that they do adore one another. She has worked hard to get him in better health while he helps calm her down. Dorit has noted that just talking to him eases and relaxes her when she feels a little stressed. PK ultimately became close with Kyle Richards’ husband, Mauricio Umansky. Soon, rumors swirled that Dorit and Mauricio were having a fling which they both laughed off. Now, the Kemsleys are following in Mauricio’s footsteps and launching a reality series away from RHOBH.
According to Reality Tea, Dorit Kemsley will be working with PK on an upcoming reality series entitled Selling Super Houses. This seems very reminiscent of Umansky’s Buying Beverly Hills series which streams on Netflix. However, unlike Umansky’s hot shot show, this series will be based in London, where the Kemsleys also have a residence. The premise will be about eight agents competing for a coveted position at the Robert Irving Burns agency. So, why is PK choosing now to enter back into this type of business when he has spent years managing musicians such as Boy George?
“After 12 years out of real estate, I feel the time is right for my return to an industry and city I love. When the credit crunch hit, I lost the business it had taken 15 years to build. I had no choice but to file bankruptcy and start again. The USA love a comeback story and afforded me that opportunity. Now it’s time for me to share my knowledge and help the next group of young aspiring entrepreneurs right here in the UK.”
A Rough Time
It is no secret that PK has struggled financially and lost it all at one point. At the end of Season 9, Dorit Kemsley launched her Kitson window for Beverly Beach, her swimwear line. She took the ladies out to eat but Camille Grammer Meyer brought up alleged debts that PK owed. Yet, it seems that they have both worked hard to get back on track. As to what role Dorit will play in the series is yet to be seen but it might be exciting to watch.
