As we reported, Josie and her husband, Kelton Balka, are expecting their third baby. The couple shared the exciting news via social media earlier this week, and of course, fans are thrilled for them. They have two daughters, Willow, 4, and Hazel, 2.
Before Josie and Kelton officially announced that baby number three is on the way, fans picked up on a couple of hints that she might be pregnant. Now, it’s confirmed, so it turns out that fans were right.
After announcing her pregnancy, Josie Bates hopped on her Instagram Stories to answer a few questions. Naturally, everyone was eager to find out more about her little one on the way. So, what has Josie revealed about her due date and gender and name reveal?

While chatting with fans via social media, Josie revealed that she’s due the “first week of March.” She didn’t share the exact due date, but of course, babies don’t often come on their due dates anyway. So, fans can expect to meet the new Balka baby in early March.

With this pregnancy, Josie and Kelton have decided to do things a little bit differently. In the past, they’ve learned their babies’ genders before birth and shared their names with fans ahead of time too. But this time around, they’re going to wait until the birth to learn the baby’s gender.
While explaining this decision, Josie pointed out that her parents did this with her siblings growing up and it was extra special. So, she wanted to give it a shot with this baby.
As for names, they don’t have many ideas in mind just yet. They’re going to take it slow and enjoy the journey of pregnancy before coming up with names. Fans will get to learn the baby’s gender and name in March shortly after the birth.
