Meghan Crumpler Gives Health Update On Her Sick Baby
1000-Lb Best Friends star Meghan Crumpler is dealing with sickness in her home right now.
As fans wait for news about a third season, Meghan’s priorities are elsewhere at the moment. Dealing with a sick loved one is never easy, but the situation can become much more difficult when full-time care is involved.
Now, Meghan is opening up about her baby’s condition. See what she had to say.
Meghan Crumpler is nursing her baby back to health right now
1000-Lb Best Friends fans that follow Meghan Crumpler online know she’s a huge cat lover. She has several of her own and refers to them as her children.
Sadly, it appears that one of them has come down with an illness. The TLC star shared an update on her public Facebook page.
“Update on my little fellow.. he has an infection .. he was neutered last week, and I’ve been keeping a close eye on him between me & Jon. Well as a momma I’ve been watching closely for redness or anything.. even checking temperature,” Meghan shared on Facebook. She attached a photo of herself holding the cat in a cone as well as a video.
“Well today I noticed he is licking, I looked & i seen drainage.. i panicked of course, but I took him emergency clinic… he had bloodwork done, drainage a little, and then antibiotics. He must stay with a cone on him for 10 days & I have to keep him separated when alone. My poor baby.”
“I’m glad you got him help quickly. That way the infection didn’t have a chance to be worse. You’re a good momma. Prayers for you and your baby,” one fan wrote on the post.
“Poor little guy, but thank Goodness it isn’t something really serious. He is going to be just fine in a few days,” another added.
Several others offered helpful suggestions based on their own experiences as cat owners. Overall, fans really had Meghan’s back here.
Are the other women supporting their friend right now?
Lately, there’s been some speculation that the 1000-Lb Best Friends cast might not be on the best terms. Meghan and Tina are still incredibly close, but some fans think that they might not be very close with Vannessa any longer.
Tina created a post on Instagram stating that she was finished with fakery and anything that didn’t align with her mental health. Notably, Meghan liked the post.
That alone isn’t evidence enough, but other fans noticed that Vannessa rarely shows up in the other women’s social media posts. Meanwhile, Meghan, Ashely, and Tina all frequently post about one another.
If the rumors are true, Meghan might not have much support from Vannessa as she nurses her cat back to health. But Tina and Ashely might be around to lend a hand.
