Meri Brown Shares Life Update Amid Janelle & Christine’s Spin-Off
Despite Sister Wives being the Christine and Janelle show as of late, there has finally been a life update on how their former sister wife Meri Brown is doing. What is this life update on Kody Brown’s first wife? And, does she foster any resentment toward Christine and Janelle for embracing a spin-off opportunity together?
Meri Brown Shares Life Update Amid Janelle & Christine’s Spin-Off
All chatter about TLC’s Sister Wives has been focused on Janelle and Christine Brown as of late. For many fans, it very much feels like the Janelle and Christine show. Fans were thrilled when Christine made the decision to walk away from Kody. And, they were also supportive of Janelle making the same decision while telling Kody to “f*ck off” during a conversation that will be featured in the upcoming season.
After years of fans begging her to do the same, Meri Brown has also walked away from her relationship with Kody. But, fans didn’t really meet her with the same parade. Moreover, fans really haven’t been clamoring for a spin-off with Meri Brown after Kody either.
Not everyone in the Sister Wives fan base, however, dislikes Meri. Furthermore, many fans were just as happy to learn she finally split from Kody too. Naturally, these fans are itching for an update on how Meri Brown is doing these days.
Does She Resent Janelle & Christine?
A trailer dropped recently confirming a new season of Cooking With Christine Brown. Surprisingly, the new trailer revealed Janelle (who she claims will be her sister wife forever) would be joining Christine in the new season of the show.
Coincidentally, Meri Brown took to social media a the same time. She shared a photo of herself. It was a selfie. Meri wore sunglasses as she strolled down the sidewalk next to a line of parked cars and colorful buildings.

She penned in the caption: “This year has been a season of change for me. A time to look inward, decide what is me now, what is not anymore.”
Her followers could not ignore the timing of this post and fully believed this was her response to Christine and Janelle teaming up for a spin-off and leaving her behind.

As the caption continued, she admitted she did have feelings of pain and resentment swirling inside of her. And, she was hurt. But, it was time for her to let those feelings go. She wanted to move on with her life.
A time to shed resentment, pain, hurt, even those same emotions of others that I’ve been carrying, that are not mine to carry. This is a time to explore new things, new places, new people, new environments, to discover what is my future.
Meri continued to explain it was time for her to “part ways” with all of the things (emotional and otherwise) that she believed to be holding her back.
