Hallmark Is Filming Sequels To The Love Club Movies
On Friday The Hamilton Spectator reported that Hallmark has been filming a sequel to The Love Club. This will be for a new series called The Love Club Moms. According to the publication, they filmed at the Ancaster Mill for The first movie called The Love Club Moms 1 –Tory’s Story.
Like the first series, The Love Club, there will be four movies. It is not clear if these movies will catch up with the four heroines in the first movies. The publication contacted producers to get more information on the cast, as well as the titles of the other three movies. However, no one responded to this request for information.
How Can Hallmark Film New Movies?
One question Hallmark fans may have is how the network can film new movies during the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes. With both the actors and writers on strike, almost everything is shut down.
Firstly, When Calls The Heart got a special waiver to film Season 11 in Vancouver, BC. Although there was no explanation, they likely approved this because it is a small Canadian production, with a mostly Canadian cast.
Second, they likely used WGC script and non-WGA actors, as ACTRA, the Canadian actor’s union is not on strike.
What Is The Love Club About?
What are Hallmark’s original The Love Club movies about? The Love Club tells the story of four women who all meet at a New Year’s Eve party. After recounting their romantic failures, they vow that they will support each other. The four women make a pact to help the others not repeat their previous mistakes in their quest to find true love.
That vow means that if anyone of the four should call, the other three will appear. The friends will offer support and help their friends make sense of their current romantic situation. Sometimes, you are just too close to a situation to understand what is happening. This means that good friends with common sense can help understand what is happening.
The four friends are called Nicole, Sydney, Lauren, and Tara, portrayed by Brittany Bristow, Lily Gas, Chantal Riley, and Camille Stopps. The first movie was called The Love Club: Nicole’s PenPal, co-starring Marcus Rosner of Ride fame.
Will any of these actors return for the new four-movie set? That is yet to be announced. Hallmark fans will have to wait for the network to make an announcement.

When Will Hallmark Air The Love Club Moms?
The premiere of The Love Club Moms will not be any sooner than 2024. Hallmark has already shared their pre-Christmas titles, including the upcoming Fall Into Love movies.
