Per a recent Instagram update, Shanna Moakler shares her children Landon and Alabama are mourning the passing of their grandfather. The tragic passing of Shanna Moakler’s father comes just seven months after her mother also passed away.

Kourtney Kardashian’s Stepdaughter Mourns Devastating Loss
It was just yesterday that Shanna Moakler, the mother of Landon and Alabama, took to Instagram to break the tragic news. Her father passed away. The mother of Kourtney Kardashian’s stepdaughter and stepson did not reveal her father’s cause of death. But, she did issue a statement on his passing. Her post included ten photos of her father.
She penned as she broke the tragic news: “It’s with great sadness to share the passing of my dad, the only solace is knowing he is with my beautiful mother. I am so thankful I got to have as many years with my parents as I did, and to have the time I had these last weeks with him.”
My father was an amazing husband, doctor and father he was more than anyone could ask for. I will hold tight to the incredible life both my parents provided for me and the love and strength they instilled in me. The unwavering support at times when I didn’t deserve it.
Shanna Moakler concluded her Instagram post gushing about how much she loved her father and how lucky she was to be his daughter. And, she added that she appreciated all of the kind words and messages she was receiving from people during this difficult time.

Her tragic post received 7x as many comments as her Instagram posts normally accumulated. The post also accumulated 25,000 likes from people who wanted to support Kourtney Karadashian’s stepdaughter and stepson’s family during this difficult time.
