Sandra Bullock’s longtime love, Bryan Randall has passed away at the tender age of 57. The two had been together for eight years now with her two children adoring him. So, what caused Randall to die at such a young age and seemingly so suddenly? Read on for more details.

It is not an easy time for Oscar-winner Sandra Bullock. The Speed actress lost her love of nearly a decade, Bryan Randall at just 57 but what exactly was the cause? According to E! News, Randall had been privately battling ALS for three years. His family shared a statement with People and this is what they had to say about their beloved Bryan:

“It is with great sadness that we share that on Aug. 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS. Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request. We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this illness with us and to the astounding nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours.”

Bryan Randall’s family has asked for privacy so they can: “grieve and to come to terms with the impossibility of saying goodbye to Bryan.” Prior to Randall, Sandra Bullock had been married to Jesse James but that sadly ended in divorce. She also dated heartthrob Ryan Gosling of Barbie fame. Then, she adopted her two loves, Louis, 13, and Laila, 11. It was at her son, Louis’ fifth birthday that she met Bryan.


He was the photographer and the rest is seemingly history. Shortly thereafter, the two got together and she ended up adopting Laila. The two moved in together and never really felt the need to wed. What they had was special enough for Sandra and Bryan and this made it beautiful. Fans are already sending love and honoring the couple.

A Sad Ending

Sandra Bullock is one of America’s darlings so Twitter is filled with fans sending their love and support.

Hopefully, she and Bryan’s family can find solace in his memory and all of the kind words that people are sending out. This will not be easy but he has left an imprint on so many hearts. Rest in paradise, Bryan Randall. This is just so tragically sad.
