Joy-Anna Forsyth Gives Exciting Update On Gideon’s Condition
Joy-Anna Forsyth raises three children, but Gideon, (5) is the only one that wears eyeglasses, This week, the Counting On alum popped up a new vlog and dedicated it to her boy, who needs an upgrade. Despite dire warnings from Duggar critics that Evelyn Mae, Gideon, and now baby Gunner are raised in a dangerous manner, all of them seem to be thriving at the moment.
Joy-Anna Forsyth Had Some Learning Problems With Gideon
Like her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, Gideon’s mom prefers to homeschool the kids. So, she noticed that her son seemed to have some difficulty with reading correctly. Anyway, she got him tested, and it turned out that he suffers from dyslexia. At least she arranged for some proper lessons to help him learn to overcome it. Confidently, she told her fans that she expects that soon, her son will be able to read a whole book just fine.
Joy-Anna Forsyth has been questioned by TLC fans for homeschooling her kids. Gideon already struggles with dyslexia and he needs to wear eyeglasses to help him see. However, she seems adamant that if homeschooling worked for her, then it’s just fine for her children. Actually, Gideon seems like a bright little boy and he looks adorable wearing his big black eyeglasses. Unfortunately, though, he needed a recent upgrade.
Joy-Anna Forsyth Posts A Vlog About Gideon’s Eyeglasses
On August 5, Austin’s wife took to her YouTube and shared a new vlog all about her son. In the video, she said that they got new glasses for him, and hopefully, he “reacts well to them.” However, they need to return in “six to eight weeks” to see if they made any difference, She explained that the doctor gave him a “stronger prescription.”
Joy-Anna Forsyth told Counting On fans that they were “headed to an eye appointment” for Gideon on a Monday. Then, she noted that the last time he had one “was in last July.” Apparently, part of his examination involved getting “his eyes dilated.” Actually, his eye specialist made it fun for him, and in the video footage, the little guy didn’t look unhappy to be there.
What Is Wrong With His Eyes?
Entertainment Chronicle reported in September last year, that Joy-Anna Forsyth revealed her son developed poor eyesight at a very young age. For now, it seems that there’s no quick fix for the little boy’s vision. And probably, he will need some sort of corrective lenses for the rest of his life.
As usual with videos from Austin’s wife, there were other scenes of her life at home with the children. Later that night, after eating some support, the kids watched some television.
