Breaking news for NASCAR fans — Noah Gragson has been suspended immediately and indefinitely. As racing fans who have followed his career know, he made his NASCAR debut back in 2018. What did the 25-year-old do to get immediately and indefinitely suspected? Keep reading for the shocking details.

NASCAR’s Noah Gragson Suspended Immediately & Indefinitely

According to a report from TMZ, Noah Gragson was immediately and indefinitely plucked from the driver’s seat after he was clocked liking a meme mocking George Floyd. The young NASCAR driver has already issued an official statement on social media acknowledging that he made a colossal mistake. And, that he was massively disappointed in himself.

I am disappointed in myself for my lack of attention and actions on social media. I understand the severity of this situation. I love and appreciate everyone. I try to treat everyone equally no matter who they are. I messed up plain and simple.

His statement was in response to the official announcement of his immediate and indefinite suspension. See the announcement and his response down below:

TMZ reported this bombshell just a day before Noah was slated to race in the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway. Now, Josh Berry is scheduled to take his place.

It is unclear when Noah Gragson hit the like button on an offensive George Floyd meme. But, a screenshot confirming he did like the meme has made rounds on social media which caused Legacy Motor Club to quickly cut ties with Noah and denounce any connection to him or any of his beliefs.

NASCAR Fans React To His Statement

Surprisingly, there is nothing but love for the young NASCAR driver in response to his tweet. Many individuals noted that “cancel culture sucks.” One frustrated fan pointed out that simply liking a meme did not mean Noah was endorsing it. Here are some of what his fan said in his defense:

  • “We love you Noah, Keep your chin up bud”
  • “Wow. Just because you like a tweet is not endorsement. I say it in my profile. All it means is I see you. Has nothing to do with agreement.”
  • “You didn’t do anything wrong. Don’t apologize.”
  • “Unbelievable did Noah do this while driving the race car? If not, then it had nothing to do with Legacy Motorsports. It seems to me that after the rumors started swirling about his replacement next year. Legacy needed to do something to make that happen.”

Overall, most of those who follow and support Noah Gragson admit they disagree with the decision to suspend him.

  1. Don’t apologize and don’t give in to political blackmail. On more than one occasion, a member of a ‘protected’ class has been paraded as a martyr when the facts distinctly contradict that insinuation. Facts matter. Facts trump political correctness and leftist narratives. Go woke go broke.
