Kim Kardashian Supports C-Murder’s Freedom

This time around, Kim Kardashian has stepped in to help Master P (Percy Robert Miller) in the fight to get his brother, Corey Miller, aka C-Murder, exonerated.  The former No Limit rapper, C-Murder, has been serving a life sentence behind bars for second-degree murder. Allegedly he played a role in the murder of teenager Steve Thomas back in 2002. C-Murder has always claimed to be innocent of the charges. Earlier this year he even protested by going on a hunger strike due to conditions at the Elayn Hunt Correctional Center.

Master P is the oldest of five children. In the siblings, there is one sister, Germaine, and three brothers: Kevin, and rap artists Corey “C-Murder” & Vyshonne “Silkk The Shocker” Miller. Significantly, Kevin Miller was murdered in 1990. His death was a large proponent in pushing Percy Miller aka Master P into his successful entrepreneurship that changed his life and saved his family.

Exploring The Facts Of Corey Miller’s Case

Back in March, Miller hired Ben Crump to represent him. He did so in an effort to get a fair trial. This was backed by the NAACP Louisiana State Conference. An announcement tagged Kim Kardashian, Snoop Dogg, and other prison reform advocates to request their support.

On Twitter (‘X”), Kim Kardashian gave details on why she believes Corey Miller and thinks he should be freed. Kim Kardashian pursued the investigation, writing, “Rather than search for the real perpetrator of the crime, the local sheriff’s office zeroed in on proving a case against Mr. Miller. Meanwhile, the lead detective harassed multiple witnesses and mishandled the case to such a degree that the trial court had no choice but to grant Mr. Miller a new trial.

Undoubtedly, Kim provided reasons she says Miller deserves a fair trial. Provided that Miller’s attorney attempted to withdraw from the case due to nonpayment. While the lawyer’s request was denied, Kim states no effort was made to call defense witnesses to testify that Miller was not the shooter. Additionally, she states that “The State’s case was minimal, limited to the now recanted testimony of Darnell and Kenneth Jordan.”

Argument For Release

Emphatically, Kim Kardashian points to a new Louisiana law. “A petitioner who has been convicted of an offense may seek post-conviction relief on the grounds that he is factually innocent of the offense for which he was convicted,” a passage from the law. Even so, Kim Kardashian is doing her due diligence to find an avenue to get him released and prove his innocence.

What are your thoughts on the case? Leave me a comment about what you think. Is Kim Kardashian on the right track? Do you believe Corey Miller is innocent?
