Michael Strahan Gets Candid, Implies Stephanopoulos Has Issues

Good Morning America host Michael Strahan got candid recently, implying that co-host George Stephanopoulos has “issues.”

The two appear to be on good terms when they’re on camera together. But Michael couldn’t stop himself from taking a verbal jab at George as he discussed his stoic co-hosts behavior on set. Keep reading to find out what Michael said, and if the two are as amicable as they appear to be.

Robin Roberts Steals Headlines With Fashion Choice

Before we get to Michael’s call-out of his co-host, we have to talk about this week’s biggest GMA buzz: Robin Roberts’ feet.

Robin is known for being friendly with fans, and she stopped to snap a pic with some outside of the studio. In the pic, Robin is wearing a slim-fitting cream-colored dress, with red, green, and orange stripes. But it was her footwear that had people chuckling. Instead of her usual heels, Robin was wearing black bedroom slippers with smiley-face emojis. The fans tweeted the picture online. And Robin replied by retweeting the pic, and explaining that, “You caught me in my comfy slippers!”

It was a silly moment that showed how comfortable Robin is communicating with fans. And, apparently, how comfortable her feet are when they are between filming.

Michael Strahan Gets Candid And Implies George Stephanopoulos Has Issues

But on Wednesday, it was Michael Strahan who had people buzzing. 

On Tuesday, he appeared on the most recent episode of the podcast Now What? with Brooke Shields. Brooke asked the former NFL star about some host-related topics. First, she asked which morning show guest made him laugh the hardest. Michael replied that it was Tiffany Haddish. He explained that the last time she appeared on the show, she had everyone up out of their seats and dancing in the studio. Even George Stephanopoulos.

He reminisced, “The reason Tiffany Haddish made me laugh so hard was she was all over George Stephanopoulos with the jokes. And she made George actually kind of dance. For George, it was a dance. I know it was.” According to Michael, George doesn’t often show his silly side in front of his GMA family. The fact that he let loose made the moment with Tiffany extra memorable. Michael lamented that George won’t dance for him. He playfully added, “We will all do a little shimmy, and George will sit there all stoic. And I say, ‘George, you gotta dance!’ He goes, ‘Never, Michael.‘”
