Was There A Character Change In Hallmark’s Mystery Island?

While Mystery Island is not a huge surprise, some of the released information is unexpected. That is because there has been some news about it before this big announcement.

Firstly,  this is written by Mystery 101 scribe, John Christian Plummer. Next, Plummer has spoken about it on the Hallmark Mysteries & More podcast. Moreover, his description of this movie was a bit different.

It’s about a designation vacation where the guy that runs is the son of a famous deceased mystery novelist like Agatha Christie. He’s turned this into a sort of playground for the super-rich who come to this place and play a murder game. It is at a big mansion on a Caribbean island.

Also, Plummer continued with more details that this lead owns the island and that this plot was to be about the fifth anniversary of the murder.

Granted, part of this plot could be part of this new Hallmark mystery. But, John Christian Plummer is a clever guy who loves to play mind games in his scripts.

Subsequently, it sounds like Sleuthers will just have to wait until Friday, September 29, at 9 p.m., on HMM to find out what Mystery Island is all about.

Sleuthers, are you looking forward to both of these new mystery movies?
