In the comments section of Carlin Bates’ new video, fans are talking about her kids’ car seats and the fact that they aren’t rear-facing. One of her followers explained:

“The Nuna Rava allows rear facing to 50 LBS! Forward facing their little bodies will absorb all the force in a crash instead of the seat. Please educate yourself and your audience on this! Never, ever turn a baby forward facing until age 4, their skeletal system cannot handle the force of an impact.”

Someone else said, “PLEASE take the time to educate yourself and your husband about car seat safety. Zade absolutely needs to be rear-facing, and Layla would also be so much safer to do so.”

Another chimed in and pointed out how little Layla is for her age, noting that it’s especially dangerous for her. Someone else added, “Turn Zade back around! It’s so much safer.”

In the comments section of Carlin’s post, fans are making it clear that they aren’t trying to bully or criticize her parenting decisions. However, they are very worried about the kids’ safety and fear that something terrible could happen if they end up in an accident.

As of now, Carlin and her husband, Evan, have not responded to the comments about car seat safety. Hopefully, they will take fans’ concerns seriously and turn their kids’ car seats around.
