Could Welcome to Plathville Season 5 be coming soon? TLC star Lydia Plath is teasing big things ahead! She hinted that she has a couple of huge announcements coming up soon and she can’t wait to share them with her social media followers. So, has she shared when fans can expect her to break the news? Fans impatiently wait for Welcome to Plathville Season 5.
For months, fans have been wondering if and when TLC will bring back Welcome to Plathville for its fifth season. Season 4 aired on TLC from May 17 through August 2, 2022. So, it’s been almost a year since the finale. The previous season premiere dates were August 2021, November 2020, and November 2019.
At this point, the show hasn’t officially been renewed by TLC. Of course, fans are still holding onto hope that the Plath family will be back.
Now, as fans wait for an official announcement, they’ve noticed an interesting post from Lydia. What did she tease?

On her Instagram Stories this week, Lydia had a Q&A session. She allowed her followers to send in questions and took the time to answer a selection of them. One fan asked what the rest of Lydia’s summer plans look like. In response, the TLC star dropped a hint. She said, “I’ll be traveling more… I have some really exciting news soon, along with more extremely exciting news, and much more!”
She then encouraged her followers to “stay tuned.”
Finally, Lydia added, “Lol I know! Sadly that isn’t very clear, but I’ll keep you all updated.”
Because Lydia is teasing so many exciting things ahead, it’s possible one of those announcements has something to do with Welcome to Plathville Season 5. It’s possible it’s something totally different, however. She’s recently been on a missions trip, which she has documented via social media. So, she could be heading out on another one soon. She could have a love interest, might be starting a new job, or could possibly be moving somewhere new. At 19 years old, she’s at a point in her life where there are many big changes.
As of now, there’s no way to know for sure what these announcements actually are. Fans will have to wait to find out. Hopefully, it won’t be long before Lydia shares the news.
