1000-Lb Best Friends star Tina Arnold is delighted to show off her weight loss efforts.
Tina received a lot of backlash from viewers during Season 2. She worked hard to qualify for bariatric surgery but ultimately backed out at the last second. Dr. Procter and the other cast members thought she was making a mistake, but she felt firm in her choice.

Although Tina Arnold declined bariatric surgery on 1000-Lb Best Friends, she hasn’t stopped working toward her goals. In fact, the TLC star frequently shares photos of herself exercising.
She felt determined to lose the weight on her own terms and it seems like things are going well.
Today, Tina opted to share a before and after shot of her progress.
“THIS IS REALITY: There y’all go. A side by side so you can see what progressive weight loss looks like without surgery,” the 1000-Lb Best Friends star captioned her Instagram post. “This is exercising and eating right… it takes longer, but it’s happening. 😉 Now those of you who just want to be negative and try to tear someone else down… try clapping for the progress instead and remember what it is to be human. 🫶🏻”
“Great job! I don’t understand why people have to be so hateful! Why do they even follow someone’s account just to tear them down. I have never understood that,” one fan encouraged Tina in the comments.
“You’re doing awesome Tina and you look great! 👏👏❤️ Block those negative Nancy’s who only want to bring you down. 🤦♀️” another chimed in.
Although there were plenty of positive messages, some Instagram users did leave negative opinions. Some followers thought that Tina still should have gone through with the surgery during Season 2.

Fans are excited that Tina is sticking with her goals. But how exactly is her best friend Meghan doing?
Meghan Crumpler hasn’t posted about her weight loss journey in a while. However, she did reveal that she just got a brand new tattoo. And to make the body art even more special, Meghan used some artwork from Tina’s daughter as the inspiration for the tattoo.
If they’re still living together in Season 3, fans hope that Meghan and Tina can be positive influencers on one another.
