The YouTuber alleges that Robyn Brown is adamantly refusing to allow the children she had with David to be made aware of the fact that their biological father is dying.

Robyn Brown has reportedly been aware of the fact that David Preston Jessop has been dying of cancer for over a year now. She, however, allegedly refused to tell her oldest three children what was going on. According to Backwoods Barbi, Robyn argued that her children were currently going to school and that is where their focus needed to be. She claimed that she didn’t want them distracted from their schoolwork by what was going on with her ex-husband.
In her video, the YouTuber shares a detailed update on how Robyn Brown’s ex-husband is fairing and that he’s lost a significant amount of weight. The YouTuber included a GoFundMe link on the off chance that any of her followers felt compelled to help this man. Backwoods Barbi added that she really wasn’t sure why no one else was sharing this story and she felt like any time a fan tried to post it in a fan group or on Reddit, it quickly got deleted.

On one hand, Sister Wives fans do understand not wanting to distract her children from their schoolwork. On the other hand, fans also think Robyn is making a huge mistake as she’s robbing her children of a chance to say goodbye to the man who helped bring them into the world.
Some fans worry Robyn Brown doesn’t realize her children may grow to resent her for taking away the opportunity to say goodbye to their father.

I was listening to your comments about Robyn Brown and David Jessop. When someone is sick they want loved ones around. When someone is dying they want their loved ones around. Now there are three children involved with this father and I am sure that they love their biological father. I don’t understand the big hurry for Cody Brown to adopt Robyn’s three children, and why did Cody have to divorce Meri to adopt them. I feel that Cody and Robyn planned this and Cody wanted to divorce Meri anyway. I pray before Mr. Jessop passes on his children get to see him alive and he tells them how much he loves them regardless of Robyn’s actualization concerning him. You are so right about two sizes to a coin or story. The way Robyn and Cody Brown have treated his other wives I would believe Mr. Jessop’s side. You don’t keep your children away from their mother or father. Why did Robyn want Cody to adopt someone else’s children? It’s not like they don’t know their father. I say to Robyn, stop hurting your children and let them love their father now while they have this opportunity to bond with their father. When you found out about him Robyn, you should have shared the news with his children and let them decide what is best for them. They are not babies anymore. You have taken their name from them that was their father’s and I guess their last name is Brown since Cody adopted them. Now are you going to take their father away from them with your secret that you have known about their father’s cancer for a year and he is dying? Don’t they have a “RIGHT” to know about their father’s “DYING?
I think Robyn is very mean and God forbid if anything happens to her. Will these children remember how she kept them away from their dying father when he was?
