‘Live’ Mark Consuelos Has New Partner, Where’s Kelly Ripa?
Mark Consuelos shocked viewers of ABC’s Live recently when he appeared with a new partner who wasn’t his wife Kelly Ripa.
ABC’s Live With Kelly Ripa is a talk show that fans expect just two simple things. The first is for the episodes of the show to air live (as the name suggests). And, the second is for Kelly Ripa to be on the show as one of the hosts. So, fans were pretty surprised when Kelly Ripa was missing from the show and Mark Consuelos appeared with a new partner who was not his wife.

Live: Mark Consuelos Has New Partner, Where’s Kelly Ripa?
On yesterday’s episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, Anderson Cooper stepped in as a new partner for Mark Consuelos amid his wife Kelly Ripa’s unexpected absence.
Over the past two weeks, Mark’s wife has been mysteriously absent for three different episodes. Neither Mark, Kelly nor the show itself has come forward to address the reason for her absences.
Nevertheless, a source close to Mark and Kelly reassures Page Six that fans of Live With Kelly and Mark have nothing to worry about. The source claims Kelly Ripa simply had scheduled days off which was not out of character during the summer months.
“Filling in for Kelly today is Anderson Cooper,” Mark explained to the live audience during yesterday’s episode. Kelly Ripa’s husband also admitted that he goes “way back” with Anderson. So, he was sure their chemistry would blend well and make for a good show.
Anderson Cooper proceeded to pump Mark Consuelos up as he noted he was “killing it” as a talk show host.
Sitting down at the news desk together, Mark and Anderson proceeded to cover a rather bizarre combination of topics including mushrooms and puppies. They also conducted an interview with chef Michael Symon. During the mushroom segment, things got pretty uncomfortable as Mark Consuelos shared a rather NSFW-looking photo of two mushrooms.
Mark said as he explained his wife was to blame for the questionable photo: “Kelly was taking a walk yesterday and she sent this to us today — just for you and me on the show today.”
New episodes of Live With Kelly and Mark air at 9 a.m. on weekdays only on ABC.

If Kelly is leaving, that is good news. Her head is going to explode if he gets any bigger. With Anderson, at least Mark will able to talk. I really enjoyed the show for many years, but How Kelly talks down to Mark and guests, she is disgusting
