Michael Strahan has been absent from the studio at GMA a lot recently. This has prompted fans to ask what’s going on with the former NFL player.

The last time he was on the show was back on July 20. Since then, Michael’s position has been filled by others, including Linsey Davis. She was in Michael’s seat again on Thursday as his lengthy and unexplained absence continued. Some fans on forums online have speculated that he has been ill. However, Michael was photographed last week heading to a popular Greek restaurant, Milo’s. He looked hale and healthy, if a little irritated at being photographed.

Other fans have suggested that there’s a contract dispute between Michael and the network. But if that’s the case, no word has reached the public. And his co-hosts have made no mention of the cause of his absences.

The plot thickened this week when Michael Strahan promoted another gig amid his continued absence from GMA.

On Wednesday, Michael took to Instagram Stories to promote his skincare line. The first picture in his slide showed a bottle of Michael Strahan Brand clear shave lotion. He shared the post from his skincare line’s Instagram account. The post was captioned, “Men’s Health and New Beauty voted us Best Shaving Cream 2023.” In the following slide, Michael touted products that would offer a “sharp beard line” and “maintain smooth, moisturized skin.” He followed those slides up with a link for interested fans to purchase his skincare line.

Of course, Michael Strahan Brand skincare isn’t the NFL alum’s only side gig. He also hosts $100,000 Pyramid. And Michael Strahan Brand also sells slick suits and other clothing items which Michael shows off during his time in the studio. However, the fact that he’s choosing his absence from the studio to push the products has fans questioning his future plans.
