‘Big Brother’ Dan Gheesling Confirms Return?
Big Brother fans are anxiously awaiting the return of the summer reality show. Meanwhile, rumors are starting to swirl about who could be in the BB house this year. Will Season 10 winner and Season 14 runner-up Dan Gheesling be making a return? Keep reading to find out what we know so far.
Is Dan Gheesling returning to Big Brother?
When fans think of Big Brother 10, they likely think of winner Dan Gheesling. It seems that in the BB fandom, Dan is a favorite, so when he tweeted “Big Brother 25?” the other day, a lot of fans got their hopes up that he might be returning to the show this season.
Several replied to the tweet asking why he would tweet something like this so randomly and if it’s a hint to him returning to the show after 11 seasons. Even Hoodie Allen got involved writing “i’ll take the bait dan we miss u pls come back.”

Several other hopefuls are in agreeance, wishing that the Big Brother icon would return to the TV show when it comes out this August.
However, Dan giving hope to fans didn’t end with this one tweet. In fact, he responded to several fans in the comments with GIFs suggesting that his return to the show could be in the works.
When one fan asked if he would moderate the roundtable, Dan even responded by saying
“I’m not moderating I want the whole table.”
Needless to say, all of this Twitter action has fans pretty suspicious not only about Dan’s return but about who else will make their way into the Big Brother house this year.

What else do we know?
Recently, another former Big Brother houseguest opened up about some casting insight she has. Janelle Pierzina apparently got a look at the cast list and decided to fill everyone in on Twitter. According to the star of the sixth, seventh, fourteenth, and twenty-second seasons of the show, she got a look at three different houseguests and was less than impressed by what she saw. It seems that this year, Big Brother is casting more and more social media influencers and those with many followers. She broke the news in a tweet.

Of course, many fans were extremely disappointed in this as they want to see more relatable players try out the social experiment. They were sure to let her know in the replies.
“It’s been in steady decline with who they put in the house,” one person writes.
“boooo we want real fans with normal followings/lives! Makes the game more relatable and not so “staged”,” another adds.
So, it seems like Big Brother might be getting some lower ratings this year than they have seen in the past. This is, of course, unless they bring back an icon like Dan Gheesling.
