What Is Hallmark’s Love In The Great Smoky Mountains About?

Hallmark is headed to the breathtaking Great Smoky Mountains in the upcoming movie Love In The Great Smoky Mountains. Here is what it is about.

According to the official synopsis, Harley and Rob are former sweethearts. They dated in high school, but their romance abruptly ended with hurt feelings abound.

Not surprisingly, they both chose the same archeology profession. Although this is what they had in common, this is also why they broke up.

In her senior year, Haley applied for a research grant. However, Rob, who said he was not interested in applying, got the grant.

When Rob betrayed Haley, she was shattered. They never spoke again. Moreover, it took years for her to recover and pick herself back up.

Now, it has been years since they have seen each other. Therefore, it is quite a surprise when Haley bumps into Rob at an archeological dig at the Great Smoky Mountains.

Rob is ready to get back with Haley, but she is not about to forgive him for disrupting his life. So, she keeps their interactions “professional.”

However, their findings are so exciting that it is hard for them to contain their passion for archaeology. Soon, they reconnect in their shared interests.

“But when Haley finds pictographs in a cave that may lead to the existence of a mythical Cherokee diamond, Rob struggles to keep up with her adventurous nature. ”

This finding leads to another research grant competition. Is history repeating itself?

Soon they realize that “the journey is more important than the destination.” They also realize that their love for their profession intersects with their love for each other.

  1. How shameful to see Hallmark can’t even hire “REAL” Cherokee Native Americans to play the two Cherokee main characters in this awful movie! I know there are plenty of Cherokee that can act better than these two fake Cherokees in this movie! I’m done with Hallmark. Absolutely ridiculous!
