Jill Dillard Shares Special Sneak Peek Of New Book
Former Counting On star Jill Dillard is sharing a special sneak peek with fans. She took to social media to give her followers a glimpse at what’s been going on behind the scenes. Though she and her family are no longer on TLC, she welcomes viewers into her life on both social media and YouTube. As exciting things happen, she keeps her loyal fans in the loop. In case you missed the news, there’s a lot going on in Jill’s life at the moment. She recently spoke out about her family’s religion, the IBLP (Institute in Basic Life Principles) in the new docuseries, Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets.
In addition, she announced that she’s written a book, Counting the Cost. It will be released in less than two months, and fans are eager to hear her side of the story. Now, amid all of the busyness and excitement, Jill Dillard is letting fans get up close and personal by sharing a special peek behind the scenes.

On her Instagram page on Wednesday, Jill Dillard shared a glimpse into her life. She posted a photo of herself holding the manuscript of her new book. In the photo, the mother of three wore a cute layered tank top and put her long locks in a braid, accessorizing with a headband. She smiled softly as she showed off the manuscript safely stashed in a large ziplock bag.
She wrote, “Things got real when I printed off the manuscript for my book, #countingthecost …it was now one step closer to being out there. I cried and prayed over it. It’s been an emotional journey and one that wasn’t easy for me to write about. I hauled it around in this plastic baggie for awhile making final edits.”

After sharing this behind-the-scenes peek with fans, she also took a moment to promote her book. It hits shelves on September 12, 2023, so fans have already started pre-ordering it. Jill has also revealed that an autographed copy is available for purchase.
