TLC’s ‘600-Lb. Life’ Season 12 Filming Underway?
Season 12 of TLC‘s My 600-Lb. Life may have filming underway already.
With Season 11 leaving fans scratching their heads as to length and air dates, many are already looking ahead to Season 12. And there are signs that filming may be already underway, giving confused fans something to look forward to. Read on to find out what we know about the start of Season 12 of My 600-Lb. Life.
Season 11 Was A Head-Scratcher
If you were a little confused by how the Season 11 episodes of My 600-Lb. Life played out, you’re not alone. The show usually averages about 10 episodes. Some seasons have as many as 20 episodes. But Season 11 seemed to abruptly end after 8, with show physician Dr. Nowzaradan, aka Dr. Now, helping participant Patrick. However, TV Guide shows air dates for 24 episodes, most of which did not air as the website promised.
So what happened to Season 11? It’s unclear how many episodes the season will ultimately contain or if it truly wrapped after episode 8. For now, all fans can do is wait for more information on Season 11. And, barring that, keep their eyes peeled for news of Season 12.
Season 12 Of My 600-Lb. Life May Be Filming Already
If you were one of the fans left confused by Season 11, we may have good news for you.
A fan reports that they believe they saw filming for Season 12 underway in their hometown. And this is what they had to say about it. On a fan forum for the show, one fan wrote that their husband couldn’t wait to tell them what he saw at the grocery store. According to the fan, their husband saw “the largest person he ever saw on a scooter.” The husband says the person was a woman, and she was being followed around by a professional camera crew. The husband added, “There was a man outside waiting for her (boyfriend or husband). The woman was yelling? at the guy to drive the car up to the front of the store because she didn’t want to walk/scoot to it.”
The person then speculated that the camera crew must have been there for Season 12 of My 600-Lb. Life. After all, they added, “Why else would someone film a morbidly obese woman at the grocery store??” This fan reports that they are in South Carolina.
Other commenters speculated that the original poster must be right, as they eagerly await news of Season 12. One asked if the original poster’s husband could guesstimate the woman’s weight, so they could compare it to her first weigh-in on the show. Other fans shared that they would be star-struck to see either show participants or Dr. Now in person.
