Joy-Anna Forsyth Comfy In Latest Anti-IBLP Attire
Counting On alum Joy-Anna Forsyth has stepped away from some of her family’s beliefs. One of them is their strict dress code. It’s no secret that the Duggars were thought to be modest. However, the 25-year-old mother has made it clear in one of her YouTube videos that she couldn’t find any answers in the Bible regarding the restrictions on pants and shorts. Recently, the former TLC star shared a vlog featuring their latest trip while wearing pants.
Counting On: The Duggar Girls Have Stepped Away From The Tradition
Several Duggar girls have stepped away from the IBLP’s teachings regarding dress codes. Some of them include Jinger Vuolo and Jill Dillard. Both of them have been wearing shorts and pants regularly. The former Counting On stars have also stepped away from their church. Though there are some who still follow the IBLP despite occasionally wearing pants such as Jana and some of her sister-in-laws.
Joy-Anna Contradicts Family’s Dress Codes In Latest Trip
Joy-Anna recently took to YouTube to share their recent trip to Wyoming. Jed and his wife joined the trip. They first went to see the beautiful view of Grand Teton National Park. The group later traveled to the Jackson Hole Rodeo. But what caught the attention of many was Forsyth’s outfit. She wore a sweatshirt paired with pants, which contradicts the Duggar family’s dress code. Even Katey was spotted in pants as well. Some Counting On fans praised them for embracing the changes in their beliefs. It also appears Michelle is starting to accept the fact that most of her adult daughters are starting to wear pants.
Counting On: Michelle Duggar Joins The Trend
Michelle has defied their dress codes during the recent Duggar family gatherings. Some of the Duggar girls even wore pants during their get-together with their mother back in April. They also did the same thing during their 4th of July celebration. Jim Bob has yet to share his comments regarding their actions. But some fans are hoping that he will soon be enlightened by his children.
Some Counting On fans are also glad that Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar are still in touch with their kids, even those who questioned the IBLP’s teachings. They even released a statement regarding the Amazon Prime Video docuseries, in which Jill and Derick Dillard sat for an interview.
