After seven years of wedded bliss, Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello say their marriage is over.

The pair were engaged in 2014 after dating for just six months. The whirlwind romance took a storybook turn when they exchanged vows in November 2015. Everything seemed to be going well between the pair. In December 2022, Sofia shouted her husband out on social media for his birthday. At the time, she wished him a happy birthday. Sofia added, “It’s going to be an amazing 2023 for you.”

Just three months later, in March 2023, they walked the red carpet together at the Vanity Fair Oscar party. But now, their happily ever after has ground to a halt. The couple told PageSix that they had made the “difficult decision” to divorce. They refer to themselves as “two people who love and care for one another very much.” In this trying time, they “ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”

Sofia Vergara Celebrates Birthday In Italy, Without Joe

As news of the divorce breaks, Sofia Vergara is currently partying it up in Italy with friends. But there’s no Joe Manganiello to be seen and no wedding ring. The America’s Got Talent host has posted pics of herself in Capri, enjoying life with her besties. Fans noticed pretty quickly that Joe was missing from the pics. Sofia captioned some of the photos, “When life gives u lemons u come to Italy to squeeze them.” That caption prompted one fan to ask, “Where’s Joe?” Other fans then asked why he wasn’t present in the photos. Now, it all makes sense.

A source close to the couple told the outlet that “Sofía and Joe have been growing apart for a while now.” And, the insider added, the pair was “taking some distance from each other to contemplate their future.” They were spotted together last month in New Jersey. But since then, they have been taking time to decide what path they should take as a couple. Or not as a couple, as the case may be.
