Kim Zolciak, Kroy Biermann Hit With New Lawsuit: $213k Debt

Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann may have called off their divorce, but it seems as if their money problems aren’t going away anytime soon. Per a recent report from Radar Online, the reality TV stars were hit with a lawsuit for an unpaid debt of approximately $213K. Who exactly has filed a lawsuit against the Bravo couple this time? Kim Zolciak, Kroy Biermann Hit With New Lawsuit: $213k Debt

Per court records obtained by Radar Online, Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak were hit with a new civil lawsuit filed by Simmons Bank. In the lawsuit, Simmons Bank claims Kim and Kroy received a $300K Home Equity Line of Credit through the Landmark Community Bank back in December 2016.

In August 2017, the suit reports the couple initiated the modification agreement which changed set December 2017 as the maturity date. Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann initiated a second modification in 2018. At the time, Kim and Kroy acknowledged they still owed $271,788.61 to the financial institute.

Simmons Bank sorted out a payment arrangement with the Bravo couple. Kim and Kroy agreed to make payments of exactly $1,132.46 each month. The first payment had a due date of February 24, 2018. They were slated to pay off the debt on January 24, 2038.

In this new suit, Simmons Bank alleges that Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann defaulted on the terms of the agreement when they stopped making their monthly payments. The suit states the final payment the coupe made was on October 28, 2022.

So, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann were able to successfully make the monthly payments for approximately four years before running into financial problems that prevented them from doing so.

As Tv Shows Ace reported recently, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann dropped a serious bombshell on everyone when they revealed they were not actually getting a divorce. Turns out, the love between Kim and Kroy never died and they decided they wanted to work on things for the sake of their children. Sources close to Kim and Kroy affirm the Bravo stars have a strong foundation and have been reportedly getting along great as of late.
