Kim Kardashian And Kris Talk About Kim’s 2016 Robbery
In the newest episode of The Kardashians, Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian get candid about parenting through fame and all the ups and downs that come with it.
As the mother and daughter duo opened up about the strain of their positions, Kris recalled what Kim said in 2016 after she was robbed at gunpoint. At that time, Kim said that she was glad it had happened to her and not another member of the family, because, “If it had happened to anyone else, they wouldn’t have been able to survive.” Kris told her daughter that she handles every situation well, praising her resilience. Kim added that she thought at the time how grateful she was that it was her and not one of her sisters. If it was one of her sisters, Kim told Kris, “… it would f**k them up for life.”
In a confessional, Kris said that not knowing what the day will bring is difficult. “When my kids are in pain, I’m in pain. When my kids hurt, I hurt.” She added that any day could come with great blessings or things going on that they can’t control.
Kris Jenner Reveals Guilt And Talks Regrets About Making Her Family Famous
Kris took her thoughts to another level as she admitted she had guilt about making the family famous, to begin with.
The Kardashian/Jenner matriarch explained that they’ve created this “amazing life” for themselves but it can sometimes be a “curse.” Kris added that she sometimes feels as though she chose to “build something that can also be a burden.” She added, “The haters, they’re so brutal sometimes.” Kris “feels bad” that she brought the element of fame into their lives. “It’s hard, it’s a struggle,” Kris Jenner admitted.
Kim tried to reassure her mom. But Kris continued that it weighs heavily on her heart. She added that fame is not just a big responsibility, it can be “very negative.” Kim agreed, and Kris continued, “We get blamed for everything.” She added, “Everything is our fault.” And, she mused, “I feel so bad for you guys that you have to bear that on certain days.”
However, Kim wasn’t letting her mom wallow in guilt. She explained that life is about hardships and getting through them. And, as a family, they don’t stoop to the level of the haters. Kim Kardashian told her mom, “We get through things and we get through it together.”
In a later confessional in the episode, Kris said that she’s been feeling down lately about everything the family goes through. But ultimately, “I feel really blessed to have such an amazing family.”
