A big question being asked by fans right now on Google and across social media is whether singing sensation Madonna is dead or alive. This question comes up after terrifying news broke yesterday that the singer was found unresponsive and rushed to the hospital where she was intubated in the ICU.

More recent reports reveal the family was fearful and braced for the worse as they thought Madonna was going to pass away. Sadly, “Madonna dead” has been trending on various social media platforms and on Google ever since as fans joined the family in fearing the worse.

Fortunately, there has been a recent update regarding Madonna’s hospitalization. Is she still alive? Keep reading for the scoop.

According to US Magazine, Madonna is NOT dead. In fact, she is doing well enough now that she is no longer in the ICU. Unfortunately, the update on her current status is very brief only stating that she is “improving” and no longer in the ICU.

When her manager, Guy Oseary, first confirmed the news of her hospitalization via Instagram, he reassured her fans that she was expected to make a full recovery. So, there was no cause for alarm.

He stated at the time: “On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which lead to a several-day stay in the ICU.”

Despite these reassures, social media exploded with concerns and fears for the well-being of the singer.

How Old Is She, Anway?

Born on August 16, 1958, Madonna is 64 years old. Many of her fans are reporting she looked a little run down the last time they saw her in public. Sadly, there are some fans taking to Twitter noting Madonna has “been dead a long time” referring to the fact that she’s had so much cosmetic surgery done that she’s barely recognizable.

Unsurprisingly, there are also many tweets from individuals questioning if Madonna got the COVID-19 vaccine and if that could have been the reason she got so sick all of a sudden.

Other than confirmation Madonna was suffering from a serious bacterial infection, no other information has been made public about exactly what was wrong with the singer.

For now, all fans of the singer can do is continue to pray for the best and hope Madonna makes a speedy recovery.
