Kroy Biermann Looking To Better Himself Amid Bitter Divorce
Kroy Biermann is looking to better himself amid a bitter divorce from soon-to-be-ex-wife Kim Zolciak.
The former NFL player recently shared that a new book has him rethinking his life, and looking to improve upon some things. Kroy’s revelation comes as he and Kim slug it out in court over ownership of their marital home and custody of their children. Both exes have been accusing one another of character flaws that could disqualify them from having custody of their children, and things are getting messy. But Kroy is choosing to focus on himself and his future, and a new book is helping him get there.
Kroy And Kim Get Dirty In Court
Once, not too long ago, Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak seemed to be the perfect couple. Throughout their time on Real Housewives of Atlanta and their show, Don’t Be Tardy, they worked together as a seamless pair. The typical arguments occurred from time to time, but things seemed healthy and happy for the pair overall.
Now, however, they’re fighting in court over who gets their home, and who has custody of their children. Through 11 years of marriage, the couple welcomed Kroy Jr., 12, Kash, 10, and twins Kaia and Kane, 9. Kroy also adopted Kim’s daughters from other relationships; Brielle, 26, and Ariana, 21. Kroy and Kim filed separately for divorce in May, saying their marriage was “irretrievably broken.” Since then, they’ve accused one another of unsavory behavior that might disqualify the other from taking custody of the children.
Kroy has accused Kim of gambling and putting her alleged addiction ahead of their children’s welfare. In return, Kim has accused Kroy of doing drugs and has demanded that he submit to a drug test. It could well be the down-and-dirty nature of their battle has spurred Kroy to do some introspection, and focus on improving himself.
Kroy Biermann Is Focusing On Bettering Himself As Bitter Divorce Marches On
Helping Kroy along with that process is a new book that he’s found to be inspiring and helpful. Kroy is now journaling and asking questions of himself to see where he is now, so he can determine where he’s going.
On Friday, Kroy told his Instagram followers about a “really cool part of the book” that he’s currently reading. The book has inspired Kroy to “appraise [him]self according to several specific character traits.” In the next few slides, Kroy offers reflection opportunities on loyalty, compassion, patience, risk-taking, righting a wrong, and other qualities.
The retired NFL player is using questions about these characteristics to help himself improve and grow. In the comment sections of his Instagram, Kroy thanked his followers for “support and positivity.” The soon-to-be divorcee said that he wished he could reply to everyone, but acknowledges that he sees the comments and added, “Love you all!!”

Like I’ve said before, he needs to take his kids, perhaps move in with family, until he can afford his own place.
Leave that Mansion, and all the bill’s that go with it, to that nasty wife of his. I’m sure, he can make a nice life with the kids, without all the drama, that surrounds that woman.
