1000-Lb Sisters fans recall that the Haltermans purchased a home of their own, leaving Tammy to live in the condo on her own. Tragically, thieves broke into the condo and trashed the place while Tammy was in rehab.
These storylines were explored onscreen. However, life has changed significantly for the sisters since they filmed Season 4. So where are they living now?
The sisters may no longer share a condo together, but they clearly spend lots of time together. They’re both allegedly navigating their own divorces at the moment and rely on one another for support.
The Sun previously shared that Amy Halterman took her sons and moved out of the Kentucky home amid the divorce. Reports indicated that she left in February 2023.
However, In Touch Weekly reveals Amy actually returned to the house in April. As far as anyone knows, this is where she and her sons live as of June 2023. Right now, fans have more questions than answers about the split. But if 1000-Lb Sisters returns for Season 5, fans will likely learn more.
Fans may be a little confused, but they’re happy to know that Amy’s sons have a roof over their heads.

Fans were heartbroken for Tammy Slaton during Season 4. She was working toward her health goals in rehab when her sisters broke the tragic news about the condo.
Although the TLC star was clearly shaken, she reportedly still claims the condo as her primary residence. In Touch Weekly shares that Tammy still allegedly pays rent on her half of the condo. The burglary clearly bothered her, but it doesn’t seem like she’s letting it get the better of her.
However, it’s important to note that In Touch Weekly‘s information could be a little dated. The publication also writes that Tammy is currently away in rehab. But the TLC star has been spotted exploring the world and adjusting to life after rehab and bariatric surgery.
