The new Duggar docuseries exposes some of the harmful teachings of the IBLP and some of the scandals the Duggar family has been involved in. Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar came out and called it “derogatory.” However, one of their daughters, Jill Dillard, participated in the series and told her side of the story.

Now, Bill Gothard is speaking his mind. Note that he stepped down in 2014 after more than 30 women made harassment and molestation accusations against him.

The IBLP founder titled his post: “Absurd Lies in New Video Attacks!”

Then, Bill Gothard wrote, “The hymn writer put it well: ‘Is this vile world a friend of grace to help us on our way?’ The answer is ‘No!’ David stated it in another way, ‘Let the lying lips be put to silence which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous’ (Psalm 31:18).

He added, “Videographers have chosen to play the part of the wicked.”

Later on, he talked about the attacks n his ministry and the way that his followers should react amid the docuseries. He wrote, “Far from being discouraging, false accusations are a cause for encouragement and rejoicing!”

Then, he referred to a bible passage and said, “Jesus stated, ‘Blessed are you when men shall revile you and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.'”
