The sweet gesture came just days after Alabama’s father and Shanna’s ex-husband, Travis Barker, broke the internet with a major pregnancy announcement from his current wife Kourtney Kardashian.

Shanna’s Ex-Husband Just Made Waves With A Huge Announcement

Alabama Barker recently made a sweet gesture to her mom, Shanna Moakler.

And the timing is likely no coincidence. Over the weekend, Kourtney Kardashian made a big announcement at a Blink-182 concert. The reality tv star held up a poster reading, “TRAVIS I’M PREGNANT” as she made the public announcement that she and Travis are expecting their first child together. Both Kourtney and Travis have a combined six children from previous relationships.

For Travis, that includes 17-year-old daughter Alabama, who he welcomed with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. Travis and Shanna also share 19-year-old Landon. The two exes were married from 2004 to 2008. In the past, Shanna has called Travis “a great dad” but doesn’t want to stay in contact once both children are adults.

As the headlines rolled out and all eyes turned to the happy newlyweds and their eagerly-anticipated announcement, Alabama was thinking of her mom’s feelings.

Alabama Barker Sends Shanna Moakler Some Love And Flowers ‘Just Because’

Shanna Moakler, 48, posted to her Instagram stories on Tuesday, acknowledging the gesture from her daughter.

In the video, Shanna shows off some flowers sent by Alabama. Along with the flowers, Alabama sent a heartfelt note which reads, “Just because. I love you Mom.” Shanna tagged her daughter in the video clip, adding the caption, “I love you.”

Shanna weighed in about Travis and Kourtney’s announcement on social media following the news. She wrote, “Very excited for them, hope they have a great experience bringing in a new life to the world.” But Shanna hasn’t always felt so generous towards the couple.

 

As recently as April, the former model called the marriage, “f**king weird.” At the time, Shanna said, “I really don’t have anything positive to say about it.” But she clarified that it’s not because she’s bitter or jealous. She wished them “nothing but the best.” And added that the only thing she cares about is that, “they’re good to my kids.” However, she maintained, “… the whole thing is really weird.”

Alabama’s thoughtful gesture to her mother Shanna comes as all eyes focus on the happy couple.
