Kody Brown Kids Shock With Father’s Day Shout Out
Sister Wives stars Gwendlyn and Ysabel Brown have expressed their disappointment towards their father in recent years. They’ve been aware of his unfair relationship with Robyn and her kids. Gwendlyn has also made some negative remarks toward Kody in several of her YouTube videos. But it seems that the polygamist father still has a special place in the siblings’ hearts, which they have shown during Father’s Day.

Gwendlyn and Ysabel Brown share one thing in common, which is their dissatisfaction with Kody’s parenting. He was out of sight for them during the Covid-19 pandemic. The 54-year-old father has also made the tough decision not to go to Ysabel’s scoliosis surgery in New Jersey. According to Kody’s eleventh child, she thinks that his priorities are screwed up. “It sucks. He’s so brave and he’s so strong and he’s letting fear control him,” the 20-year-old daughter added.
On the other hand, Gwendlyn has gained a controversial reputation online due to her comments about her father. She’s been trying to expose his favoritism toward Robyn. But despite all the negativity, it seems that the two still love their biological father.
Gwendlyn & Ysabel’s Father’s Day Tribute To Kody
In an Instagram post, Gwendlyn shared a childhood picture with Kody as a tribute for Father’s Day. “Happy father’s day. I love you always,” the 21-year-old daughter said. Ysabel later shared her own throwback photo. It shows herself and Gwendlyn on top of their dad’s shoulders. “Father’s Day <3,” she captioned. They’re the only ones who greeted Kody on the special day. Meanwhile, Christine caught the attention of some Sister Wives after sharing a Father’s Day message for her fiance, David Woolley, with an indirect dig at her ex-husband.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Skips Ysabel’s Birthday?
Ysabel recently celebrated her 20th birthday. Some of her siblings came over to celebrate. However, Kody was nowhere to be found during the big gathering. It appears that Kody skipped his daughter’s birthday due to Christine and David’s presence. It’s unclear if they’re still communicating behind the cameras. But Ysabel’s recent Father’s Day tribute might be an indication that they’re still in touch.
At this point, the father of 18 has yet to open up about his current relationships with some of his kids. But fans are hoping that his ex-wives will continue to give him access to them despite their separations.
