In their nearly 40 years of marriage, she has changed drastically. Fans have accused Jim Bob of brainwashing Michelle. She’s now very religious and had 19 kids because she refused to use birth control and believes her family size is up to God.

In a new Instagram post, Katie Joy of Without a Crystal Ball shared a clip of Michelle Duggar. It is from an IBLP (Institute in Basic Life Principles) seminar video called “Affirming Biblical Foundations.” In the video, Michelle talks about how her identity is in God rather than her kids, her marriage, or anything else.
In the video, the TLC star doesn’t talk about how much her life has changed, but her words sparked a discussion in the comments section of the post.

Fans Are Heartbroken Over Apparent Brainwashing
In the comments section of the new video, fans and critics are talking about how obvious it is that Michelle Duggar was brainwashed by Jim Bob.
One fan said, “I wonder what Michelle would be like if she wasn’t brainwashed and groomed by gross JimBob. She was a cheerleader and dressed normal, she was a normal teen.” They went on to add that the “brainwashing is unbelievable.”
Another Instagram user chimed in, “It’s a shame she lost herself(her before IBLP).”
