Melissa took to social media this week to share an update to show fans how she’s been doing.

Melissa Morris Was One of Dr. Now’s Earliest Success Stories on My 600-Lb. Life

In Season 1 of My 600-Lb. Life, Melissa Morris was first introduced as a woman who weighed in at 653 pounds.

Show physician Dr. Now gave her husband Chris criticism for enabling her dangerous eating habits. And the couple talked about their desire to start a family, but Melissa’s weight was in the way of their dreams.

As the years passed, Melissa Morris and Chris were becoming more and more hopeless about achieving their dreams of having a baby, so they turned to TLC and My 600-Lb. Life for help.

Melissa’s journey came with ups and downs, but ultimately she was able to qualify for bariatric surgery. At the end of her journey, she weighed just 157 pounds.

In fact, her time with Dr. Now was so successful that she was able to work for him. But more importantly, she was able to reach her dreams and have three children over the years.

Melissa Offers An Update for 2023: Where Is She Now?

But knowing where Melissa Morris has been doesn’t answer where she is now.

So what is the reality star up to?

She’s healthy, happy, and thriving, according to a new social media post that comes loaded with a little sass.

On Thursday, June 15, 2023, Melissa took to her Instagram account, @melissasheisme, to share an update. She captioned the image, “Proof of Life… #melissasheismeiamher #melissasheisme #my600lblifemelissa #my600lblifewherearetheynow #my600lblife.”

 

 

The picture is of Melissa sticking her tongue playfully out for the camera. And fans in the comments quickly showed why Melissa Morris was always such a show favorite. They offered their support for her well-being, with several commenting about how inspiring she has always been.

One fan wrote, “Watched your 600 lb life episode just yesterday. So inspiring. Watched while riding my stationary bike…made it 25 minutes before knees had enough. Trying for 30 next time!! 💪.”

Melissa And Chris Have Split, But Their Dream Lives On

Although Melissa Morris and her husband Chris have split since her time on My 600-Lb. Life, their dream to have children lives on.

Melissa recently shared pictures of her three children: Allona (12), Elijah (10) and Austin Wayne (7).

The reality star has also shared that she put on around 100 pounds during her pregnancies. But she has maintained the same weight since the birth of her youngest.
