Kim Zolciak BEGS Kroy For Mercy Regarding Atlanta Home

Kroy Biermann is taking legal steps to remove Kim Zolciak from the former couple’s Atlanta home, and Kim is hoping for mercy from a judge. What was already a contentious divorce between the two has escalated into a rumble for custody. However, it could end with Kim being evicted from her own (former) home in Atlanta.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is asking a judge not to side with Kroy in his efforts to have her kicked out as they take their battle back to court.

Kroy Biermann & Kim Zolciak Are Ramping Up an Already-Fraught Divorce

In May, both Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak filed separate petitions in a Georgia Court, calling their marriage “irretrievably broken.” The two first tied the knot back on November 11, 2011.

Both Kroy and Kim want custody of their four children: Kroy, Kash, Kaia, and Kane. They’re also both asking the other to pay spousal and child support.

Rumors have followed the couple for years, especially after they left RHOA in 2012. Kim called it quits halfway through the show’s fifth season.

People have speculated that they had an open marriage, although it has since been determined that they did not. More so, others speculated that infidelity is what shattered the seemingly rock-solid marriage. For now, the reason for their divorce remains just speculation.

Kim Demands A Drug Test, Kroy Demands An Eviction

What isn’t speculation, however, is how complicated and messy their divorce has gotten over the past few weeks.

According to RadarOnline, Kroy Biermann is now moving to have Kim evicted from their marital home in Atlanta. The outlet reports that the legal filings demand that Kroy has exclusive access to the property. Kroy is also demanding full custody of the children.

Kim says that both she and Kroy are co-owners of the house, which was purchased while they were married. Her court filing reportedly reads, “[Kim] desires any and all pre-marital assets, gifts and inheritances of either party shall be retained and assigned to the party who owned the asset or property before the marriage or received the gift or inheritance in accordance with the law of the State of Georgia.”

And added to the contention of an eviction, Kim Zolciak is demanding that Kroy submit to drug tests. She claims she has witnessed Kroy smoking marijuana.

Kroy fired back by accusing the RHOA star of gambling online. He said of Kim’s behavior that she’s, “spending substantial time and marital funds on gambling and other games of chance. This compulsion has financially devastated the parties. [Kim’s] time is so consumed with online gambling that she is unable to properly care for the children.”

Who Should Get The House?

Kim Zolciak wants her maiden name restored and wants Kroy to cover her legal fees. With Kroy battling for custody, Kim has also found herself defending her parenting. The reality star says she is a “loving, fit and proper parent to have joint legal and primary physical custody of” the kids. Now, Kim hopes for mercy from a judge as she hopes to avoid losing the Atlanta home she loves.
