An inside source who used to work on the Duggar family’s TLC shows recently spoke to Life Is Not All Pickles and Hairspray. This Facebook user shares various news updates, criticisms, and memes about the Duggars. In a new post, they shared what they had learned from the former crew member.
“Early on in the series, one of the kids didn’t want to be filmed while under anesthesia during wisdom teeth removal surgery. They were worried about looking silly as they came out of sedation. However, they did end up reluctantly doing the scene out of obedience to their father.”
The source revealed that Jim Bob Duggar had the final say in the footage featured in the shows. According to the insider, this is not the norm for reality TV.
So, it’s certainly possible he had additional control over aspects of the show. Fans have heard about the financial issues and the kids not being properly paid.
