Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent is taking a stand against SeaWorld and demanding Orca freedom. As her followers may be well-aware, she is proactive for causes that she believes in. One of them is animal rights. Now, she is heavily involved in freeing a very special orca over at SeaWorld and she is determined to free them. Read on for more details.

Lala Kent Attending SeaWorld Meeting, Demands Orca’s Freedom

During Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules, Lala Kent no longer worked at SUR. Yet, she was a huge animal advocate so she went to work at Vanderpump Dogs. She felt that she could make a difference with the animals who really needed her. This has always been something she has been passionate about and when she feels strongly, she goes all in and all out. Now, according to a press release, Lala is back to saving the animals, specifically an orca named Corky. She will attend a virtual SeaWorld shareholder meeting on behalf of PETA.

Lala Kent’s ultimate goal is to see Corky be released into a seaside sanctuary. This is apparently happening with Lolita from the Miami  Seaquarium. Kent had this to say: “Corky was violently torn away from her family and ocean home in 1969, when she was just 4 years old. She was used for years as a breeding machine and bred with her own cousin six times. None of her babies survived past 47 days. She has been confined longer than any other orca and has little to do but swim in endless circles in a tiny tank at SeaWorld.”

Lala Kent then referenced what the Miami Seaquarium was doing with Lolita and how this was what SeaWorld should be doing. She is desperate to know when SeaWorld will release Corky to a seaside sanctuary. There, she can finally experience the life that she should. More so, she will have a chance at being reunited with her long-lost family. This would be a huge step for the water attraction and the humane thing to do, nonetheless.

A Bad History

This may be one orca that Lala Kent is currently fighting for but over 40 Orcas and 500 dolphins have died in the tanks at SeaWorld. This has made such an impact on Kent that she and her Pump co-stars, Scheana Shay, and Ariana Madix posed for a PETA campaign, seen above. They want this to change. The meeting is tomorrow. Hopefully, Lala will update her followers as to what happens, if anything on her social media.

What do you think of Lala Kent using her name to change the SeaWorld game? More so, did you know this was such a problem? Let us know in the comments below.
