Jill is one of the Duggar family members who is furthest removed from their strict religious beliefs. She’s still religious but is not a part of the IBLP (Institute in Basic Life Principles). She’s speaking out against their harmful teachings in both a docuseries and a book.
She has had a nose piercing for a few years and has admitted to using birth control, which are not allowed in the Duggar family’s religion. Now, she might be taking things even further as fans wonder if she might have a tattoo.

On her Instagram Stories, Jill posted a new photo as she enjoyed some fresh air in her backyard and read her bible. Something in the photo caught fans’ attention though.
In the snap, it looks like she has “Jesus” tattooed on her wrist in black script.

On Reddit, Duggar fans and critics reposted this photo from Jill Dillard’s Instagram Stories, and now they are discussing it. Some were shocked to see the ink on her wrist, but others are convinced it is not actually a tattoo. Many think it looks like Sharpie, due to the thickness and the way it looks on her skin. If it was a tattoo, the lines would be finer.
Some Counting On viewers are speculating that Jill might be drawing on herself with Sharpie before committing to a permanent tattoo. A Reddit user said, “I wonder if she’s ‘testing it out’ for a potential future tattoo.”
One fan said, “At one point, Jill talked about how she will write a verse on her wrist with a marker as a reminder throughout her day. She said she is not opposed to getting a tattoo but she wasn’t ready for one yet.”
Fans will have to wait and see whether she ends up getting a tattoo in the future.
