Andy Cohen Breaks Silence On Howie Mandel Fallout

Andy Cohen is breaking his silence on the Howie Mandel fallout. This all happened when Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval appeared on Howie’s podcast, Howie Mandel Does Stuff. The biggest problem was that Mandel seemingly knew nothing about the scandal Sandoval was involved in. More so, he knew nothing about the show Sandoval was on so Cohen deemed him uneducated. Andy Cohen Breaks Silence On Howie Mandel Fallout

Back in April, Tom Sandoval did his first candid interview with Howie Mandel. It did not go well as he played the victim card but there was more. Howie did not know anything about Vanderpump Rules or ‘Scandoval’ so he could not understand why fans were so upset. Ultimately, it did come out that he promised to go easy on Tom but, during the interview, he revealed that they had common friends. So, it seemed to make sense why Sandoval chose this forum as opposed to one that would actually challenge him on his actions. Bravo executive, Andy Cohen was livid as he called out Howie for being so uneducated.

Even the network was unaware that Sandoval was doing the interview and his cast members thought it was awful. Now, Andy Cohen is opening up about his fallout with Howie Mandel after the ill-fated interview. According to Us Weekly, the two men have healed their friendship, thankfully. Cohen shared an update Monday, June 5th on his SiriusXM show: “Guess who DMed me? Someone that I was in a feud with.” After co-host, John Hill didn’t get it, Andy spilled the beans.

“Howie Mandel DM’d me over the break. He DM’d me and said, ‘You’re making amazing TV. I was honored to be your jackhole.’ I loved that and I DM’d him back and I said, ‘Howie, being in a feud with you — feud in quotes — was my honor,’ with a bunch of hearts. So, I feel like Howie and I, we’re back,” Andy Cohen shared.

Mending Fences

Usually, Andy Cohen will find someone who has made an epic mistake and name them the ‘Jackhole Of The Day’ on his nightly show, WWHL. He chose to bestow this honor onto Howie Mandel after the Tom Sandoval interview. At the time, it seemed like Mandel was not flattered. However, the tides have turned and Howie appears to be on a much better footing with Andy. Maybe he will be a guest in the WWHL clubhouse sometime soon.
