On social media, Katie has shared a few recent photos of her baby girl, Hailey, revealing that she got her ears pierced. Hailey is just three months old, but Katie and her husband, Travis Clark, decided to pierce her ears as a baby. It looks like she has received negative comments from fans in response. Some are saying that Hailey can’t consent to having her ears pierced at just three months old. Others think it’s not worth the pain.
It looks like Katie and Travis are over the criticism. So, the new parents are shutting down the haters in a new statement.

Due to the backlash, Katie decided to shut down the parent-shamers once and for all. She shared a lengthy statement on her Instagram Stories on Thursday evening. She also shared the same statement in a comment on her YouTube video about Hailey getting her ears pierced.
In the comment, Katie explained that she had issues with her ear piercings at the age of 20. She had infections and all kinds of problems. She wanted to help her own daughter avoid this, which is why she wanted to get them pierced when she was still young. This way, Katie and Travis can care for her piercings as they heal.
