‘NCIS’ Season 20 Finale: Does Team Save Torres, Or The World?
The NCIS team is racing the clock in the final episode of Season 20. The danger is imminent, and one member of the team needs to go undercover to get some urgent answers. Can the team uncover a diabolical plot in time?
Here is what we know about the final Season 20 episode “Black Sky.”
What Is NCIS Season 20 Episode ‘Black Sky’ About?
NCIS fans, the conclusion of the two-part Season 20 finale is here. According to The Futon Critic, there is little information on this episode entitled “Black Sky.” But, this is what has been revealed.
What we know is that Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) is in jail. Did he get into a scuffle? It seems more likely that he is involved in a deep undercover mission.
Moreover, based on the previous episode called “Kompromat,” there are some Russian spies involved, as well as weapons of mass destruction. This all plays into Torres’s undercover incarceration. He needs to obtain information on an imminent terrorist threat.
What Happened In The Previous NCIS Episode?
In the previous NCIS episode, there was no indication that the world would fall apart. It seemed like a strange murder case.
Firstly, a security guard was murdered at the National Archives Museum. When they investigated this death, a familiar face was possibly involved. Once again, the NCIS team has to talk to Senator Miller (Brigid Brannagh). Using retina technology, it appeared that she was at this building. But, she has a pretty good alibi. She was with Parker (Gary Cole).
Meanwhile, after some issues with the State Department and a prisoner exchange of Russian spies, it turns out that those spies wound up dead. It looks like they did not complete their mission.
However, Yuri (Themo Melikidze), the reported handler of these spies, has been caught. He is the guy that copied her retina from a photo. Therefore, he got into the high-security building and killed the security guard.
However, now that he is caught, he doesn’t seem to be so concerned. That is because he completed his mission. What was this mission? Can a familiar face help them out?
An OG Is Back To Help The Team
What is an NCIS episode without a little help from an original member of the cast? Live from Scotland, Ducky (David McCallum) takes time out of his book to help out. It turns out that a Russian defector, Ilya Sokolov is the guy they are looking for. However, he was found murdered. Moreover, the project he worked on in his mother country was a weapon of mass destruction. This has become one urgent case!
This week, Ducky is back to help. Most of all, could Ducky connect some of Torres’ newly uncovered information, along with his brilliant memory? Is he able to help the team piece together the deadly plot?
Will There Be Romance In This Season 20 Finale?
There has been lots of romance on NCIS this season. Just last week, Knight (Katrina Law) and Palmer (Brian Dietzen) made public confessions of love. Could we see similar displays to help lighten the mood and end the season with a romantic flair?
What about Parker and Senator Miller? Could this new case, and her involuntary involvement make or break this steamy new relationship?
