Redditors beg My 600-Lb Life fans to leave Dr. Now alone
Many reality TV viewers would love to meet their favorite stars. But some My 600-Lb Life fans seem to be taking things a bit too far. Now, one Redditor is begging others to stop bothering Dr. Now in person.
“Listen, I like Dr. Now as much as the next guy but some of the s*** I see on here is borderline stalker,” one Redditor wrote on the website this week.
“Like I have seen a few stalkery posts but the one that made me post this was a post I saw that was just someone recording Dr. Now get stuff from his car and go into his work, come on man, that’s not ok,” they continued. “It’s one thing to take a pic with him but to just record him doing daily tasks is just insanely creepy, I don’t think he would like some stranger recording him, you guys are cool, but we need to do better, and, not do this.”
In the comments, the OP shared another Reddit thread they said inspired them to make the post. In that thread, a Redditor did indeed share a random video they took of Dr. Now simply walking into his office.
Other Redditors agreed videotaping the doctor was bizarre and agreed with the OP.
“As much as we love Dr. Now, he is still a person, and an elderly person to boot,” another added. “I’m sure strangers unknowingly recording him is scary and creepy! Don’t let your stanning give that old man a heart attack!”
