After years of struggling with her weight, the TLC personality has finally decided to take her future into her own hands. She’s still trying to lose weight through a healthy diet and exercise, but she’s also trying to maintain her independence too.
Now, Meghan has achieved another major milestone and she can’t wait to tell the world. So what exactly is she up to now?

1000-Lb Best Friends follows four galpals as they work toward their health and weight loss goals. Although Meghan Crumpler has struggled to keep up with her progress in the past, she’s incredibly excited about this next chapter in her life.
It’s not immediately clear whether she’s made much progress on the scale. But she is definitely taking steps so she can better care for herself.
Most people learn to drive in their teen years. Meghan Crumpler is in her mid-40s, proving that it’s never too late to learn.
“Guess who is growing up !🤪” she captioned a new Instagram post. In the photo, she’s proudly holding up a paper printout of either a learner’s permit or a driver’s license.
Either way, she’s one step closer to being fully independent.
“Congratulations 🎉 Nothing like the freedom to just get up and go,” one of Meghan’s followers wrote in the comments.Â
Others wondered if this meant that she was closer to moving out of Tina’s house.
At the end of 1000-Lb Best Friends Season 2, Tina asked Meghan and her new husband Jon to find a place of their own. However, it doesn’t seem like that ever happened. Based on the women’s Instagram pages, they still very much live together.
Fans still want to see the reality star make significant changes
Hopefully, learning to drive will help give Meghan Crumpler the motivation she needs to keep working toward her goals. Over the course of the past two seasons, 1000-Lb Best Friends have grown frustrated with Meghan as she encounters hiccups and slides backward.
