The Bachelor alum Susie Evans was a front-runner on Clayton Echard’s season of the show. She ended up being the one he wanted to be with after tons of drama. Since she was a fan favorite and a front-runner she was the lucky gal who got to attend the fancy pretty woman date overseas.
On this date, Susie and Clayton visited a very chic boutique and she tried on tons of clothes. It appeared the show and Clayton was spoiling her. Was it really as it seemed? According to Susie, it was not.
Susie appeared on the She’s All Bach podcast where she spilled the tea that while fans saw her carrying tons of bags back to her hotel room it wasn’t what it seemed. She revealed that she did indeed get to experience the shop and try things on. However, Susie was only allowed to pick one designer dress that she really loved.
So, where did the other bags of clothes come from? While she was hesitant to spill the tea, Susie revealed that producers actually did most of the shopping. In fact, she shared that the majority of the clothing in the bags she carried back was purchased at H&M. She went further and said a lot of the things purchased didn’t even fit her.
Susie went on to say she isn’t sure if this is how all these kinds of dates are handled but it was for hers in particular.
What did she think about being the front-runner during Clayton’s season?
Susie also shared the scoop that she didn’t really think she was the front-runner while others were pinpointing her as such. She said Clayton was very respectful and she felt more friend-zoned than anything for quite some time. Overall she didn’t see how she could have been the front-runner in Clayton’s eyes based on how she felt she was treated.
More tea was spilled when Susie shared that she didn’t agree with Clayton telling her he couldn’t live without her while the show was filming. Clayton asked his mom how she defined love and she told him it is someone you cannot see yourself ever living without.
Clayton told Susie that he could see himself being able to live without Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia but not her. Susie didn’t think this was possible based on the small amount of time they were allowed to spend together.
In the end, they did give their relationship a go. However, neither were compatible with one another and they called it quits.
