Shocking General Hospital news this morning as Haley Pullos was arrested for a DUI after being the cause of a car crash on a major freeway. The shocking and devastating photos from the crash site revealed the soap opera star is lucky to be alive.

General Hospital: Haley Pullos arrested for DUI after car crash

According to TMZ, Haley Pullos told Soap Opera Digest about a week ago that she was taking a leave from General Hospital to recover following a car accident. It, however, has now come out that she left out some key details about the car accident including the fact that she was popped for a DUI following the crash.

In documents obtained by TMZ, cops confirm Haley Pullos was driving on a Pasadena highway on April 29th at the time of the accident. She reportedly swerved into another lane, drew over a dividing barrier, and barreled into oncoming traffic. The documents report the General Hospital star slammed into a car in wrong-way traffic on the freeway while going 60 MPH.

The police report confirms Haley Pullos was trapped inside her vehicle following the crash. When help arrived on the scene, firefighters were able to help the General Hospital star get free from her vehicle. After being assessed for injuries, she was transported to the hospital. Police met Haley Pullos at the hospital and she was arrested for a DUI prior to being discharged.

Police note the actress became aggressive with hospital staff to the point of being sedated. Police also report both mini tequila bottles and edible marijuana was found in her vehicle.

Shockingly, the police report also claims the General Hospital star assaulted the firefighter who was assessing her injuries after being rescued from her vehicle prior to being taken to the hospital.

Haley Pullos caused a pileup on a freeway and could have unalived someone because she was drinking while intoxicated.

At this time, it is unclear if she will be returning to General Hospital. Though, many viewers think the network should permanently recast her role following her reckless actions.
