‘Selling Sunset’ Maya Vander Shocks Fans With Joyful Surprise
Selling Sunset personality Maya Vander recently surprised her fans with some incredibly exciting news!
In 2022, she broke fans’ hearts when she revealed that she was leaving the series. Ultimately, she wanted to dedicate more time to her family — especially her young children. Maya and her family have a full-time residence in Miami, but Selling Sunset films in Los Angeles. Needless to say, the commute became a huge burden on them.
But this week, Maya Vander is sharing some incredibly exciting news with her followers. Keep reading to see what she had to say!

Maya Vander won’t return to Selling Sunset for the next season, but she’s still really popular with many viewers. Now, she’s happily celebrating joy and life after suffering through a tragic loss.
The former Netflix star proudly announced on her Instagram page that she and her husband welcomed a baby daughter after their heartbreaking miscarriage.
“Welcome to the world Emma Reign! My rainbow baby! This was a long 9 months as I kept my pregnancy as quiet as possible from social media. I gave birth few days ago and words can not express my sense of relief and happiness!” Maya shared online. She attached a sweet photo of herself in the hospital bed holding her baby daughter. Her husband stands over them, beaming with happiness.
“Thank you so much @femcareobgyn and dr Senemar,” she continued. “Thank you to the amazing nurses at Baptist hospital. I will forever be grateful ❤️ and yes I’m wearing a mask because of course I had the worse cold🤧but I made it to push a baby with full stuffy nose;)”
“BABY EMMA!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍 So in love and so happy for your family! Best mama ever!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️” Maya’s former Selling Sunset costar Emma Hernan wrote in the comments, loving the name.
“So so happy for youuuuuu🥹🥹😭ANGEL🥰” Chrishell Stause added.
Plenty of other friends and fans added kind words and congratulations to the comments section. With any luck, Maya might make an appearance or two when the next season premieres this year.

Selling Sunset fans know that Maya Vander and her family have had their fair share of heartbreak.
“[Maya] sadly suffered a miscarriage last June at just 10 weeks, a tragedy that came six months after going through a stillbirth the year prior. In December 2021, Maya shared the sad news that she had a stillbirth with her third child, Mason, at 38 weeks,” ET reported.
After all this pain, the birth of baby Emma is a wonderful blessing for the family.
